Dr Sangeetha Ambati completed her Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Kamineni Institute of Medical Sciences in 2005. She attained the Australian Medical Council (AMC) Certificate in 2010.
Dr Ambati is a highly skilled GP in Torquay who is passionate about all aspects of General Practice and holds a fellowship of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) as well.
Dr Sangeetha Ambati is multilingual and can communicate comfortably in English, Hindi and Telugu.
Dr Zina Al-Baghdadi

Dr Zina graduated with a bachelor of Medicine /bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) from Al-Mustansiriyah University,Baghdad,Iraq 2002. Dr Zina gained valuable experience overseas over 7 years including 4 years in Jordan-Amman.
She moved to Australia with my family 2010 and worked for Barwon Health for more than 4 years with exposure to variety of clinical cases in all medical and surgical aspects. Dr Zina obtained my diploma in obstetrics & Gynaecology (RANZCOG) in 2022.
Dr Zina is interested in all aspects of general practice especially Women’s health (including CST, IUD removal, implanon insertion & removal and more), Antenatal care, General medicine, travel medicine, mental health, chronic disease management and surgery, sub specialties areas and furthermore.
She loves reading and spending time with my children during time off.

Dr Shaneet Chand

Strong healthcare services professional with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery – MBBS focused in Medicine from College of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences; Fiji National University.
After gaining General practice experience in Fiji, I transitioned into Australian medical practice by successfully completing my Australian medical council board exams and then gaining Australian hospital experience by working under the best of consultants at the Bundaberg Base Hospital in Queensland. After gaining my general registration from AHPRA, I have now come into General Practice studying towards my fellowship.

Dr.Zaid Qaseer graduated from medical school in 2010 and commenced work in Australia in 2019. He has more than 4 yrs of working at hospitals in Australia and still works at local emergency departments when required.

Dr Hadeer graduated from medical school with honours in 2016 from Iraq and moved to Australia in 2018. She has worked in Western District Health service for more than 4years in medical , surgical department and emergency medicine with exposure to variety of clinical cases including obstetrics and paediatric cases. Her special interests in general practice includes: -Women health, pregnancy care ,Sexual health, cervical screening, and contraception. -Child health, newborn check, immunisation, developmental check, childhood asthma management plans etc. -Dermatology and cosmetic medicine. -minor procedures: incision and drainage, wound care. Suturing, ear syringing , skin tag removal and cryotherapy. -preventative health check for all age groups -Travel vaccinations and advice -weight loss management -chronic disease management especially diabetes and hypertension. -mental health

Dr Syma Iqbal

Dr Syma Iqbal completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery in Pakistan. She moved to Australia in 2009. She has successfully been working in Australia since 2010. Her work extends from rural hospital to metropolitan hospitals. She worked at Latrobe Regional hospital, Western health, Barwon health and Epworth Geelong over the last 13 years. She has worked in Emergency medicine, intensive care, and various fields of surgery. Her main area of practice over the last decade has been in General surgery. She has successfully completed postgraduate diploma of Surgical Anatomy with university of Melbourne in 2016. She has taught undergraduates and postgraduates medical students at university of Melbourne and at Monash university. She has also completed Advanced certificate of skin cancer in 2021 and is currently undertaking advanced diploma of skin cancers. She is currently enrolled in diploma of child health with university of Sydney, Westmead hospital. She is multilingual and comes from a multicultural background. She is accommodative and loves working with children and adults. She believes in holistic approach to health issues pertaining to physical and mental well-being. Her new journey in General Practice will open new endeavours into family medicine, general medicine, Women and child health. She is open to new challenges and will make a difference with her best practice techniques for your better future.
